As Mothers day just passed us, it brings a lot of reflection on my life and what it really means to be a mother. A mothers love is like no other! It truly reaches beyond the limits and serves the giver and receiver an unlimited amount of purpose. I don’t know about you all but my mother’s love has got me through some hard times and heartaches.

Women are often taken for granted, misused and overlooked. We don’t often get enough credit for all the blood , sweat and tears we put into raising our families and pouring into the world. We just do it because it’s in our nature. It’s what we are naturally going to do. But no one talks about how hard it can be.

No one talks about the pain we can endure as Mothers, sisters, wives, and friends. We as women naturally are empathetic and emotionally in tune to the ones we love. So when we take on the burden of loving someone, we take on all their pain as well. We say because I love you I will go above and beyond for you.

We cook, we clean, we counsel, we nurse, we nurture, we litigate, we please, we chauffeur, we instruct and construct and do everything in between. But no one talks about how we get tired. And even when we are tired we have to push through it because if we don’t get it done then who’s gonna do it. And sometimes I want to lose it but I remember that I must push through it because for the ones I love I do it.

So all I’m saying is that yes Mothers day is beautiful and we all should get celebrated with gifts and cards and flowers. But considering we do this 24/7 and 365 days out the year I think we deserve it a little more. Give a mother a hug. Give a mother a break. Give a sister some money. Give a wife some flowers. Give a girlfriend a gift. Give your friend a surprise cash app cause she always comes through. Whoever that woman is in your life is that gives you that unconditional love, make sure you show her you appreciate her.

One thing is for sure is, women are the backbone of the world. This is a man’s world is what I’ve heard but I think they said it wouldn’t be nothing without a woman. So happy mother’s day to all the mothers out there. March was women’s month so shout out to all the women period because most all of us are playing mother or nurturer to someone in our lives.

Just know that I see you and I feel your pain. It’s a struggle and blessing but I wouldn’t trade the love of a woman for anything in the world. Thank you all for taking the time to read my blog this morning I hope that it inspires you. I hope that you are blessed and that you continue to grow into the beautiful people God called you all to be.
