Change of Thinking

One of the worst feelings in the world is feeling lost in life.

Feeling like you are alone, hopeless and out of options.

If anyone has struggled with depression, than you may know that it is not a pretty place for your mind.

It is very easy to get depressed and down about life when you are going through difficult times.

You may feel helpless and like you don’t have hope. I know because I have been there.

Depression can knock you down and have you feeling like you are not yourself at all.

The hardest part of getting over depression is fighting with your own thoughts.

Depression can cause you to think negatively and dwell on the past. It can make it difficult to be optimistic about the future when all you can think about is present circumstances.

I can only speak from what I’ve been through.

I know personally that depression can play games with your mind. It can take the best person and bring them low.

How do you begin to get over it though? How do you begin to reclaim your happiness and joy and peace.

I think that it takes a lot of will power, time, and a change in thinking.

You have to begin to change the way you look at the situation you are in.

Even if you don’t see or feel like anything will change, you have to believe it will.

You have to begin to train your mind to think positive thoughts. You have to change your thinking because your thoughts are what control your mental health.

You also have to remember to keep doing things to try to better yourself. What are the things that make you happy?

If you continue to do things that will satisfy you and try to only think positive, this will hopefully help you deal with life better.

Sometimes you just have to be still and know that bad times don’t last forever.

When life gets you down in the dumps, just tell life that you won’t give up. You will get up and change your situation.

The hardest part is the waiting. Especially when you lost things and you feel like you don’t have any options. The waiting can be brutal, especially if you lack the virtue of patience.

Just know that there are resources out there. There are people who are struggling with the same issues and have found ways to overcome them.

The Best Advice I can give though is to just keep pushing to find happiness and peace.

Do whatever you have to do to get yourself out the funk.

Talk to a friend or a counselor.

Scream if you have to!!

But then you just have to get up and keep pushing.

No good can come from negative thinking. You have to change your thinking to change your situation.

It may be the only thing you can do to change your situation today.
