I’m beautiful and never really had to assume
Insecurity was never the issue, confidence been through the moon.
My problem is everyone else’s insecurities. When I come into the room some people tend to shrink.
It’s just the light I shine don’t blink.
And my impression last for a lifetime like it’s tattoo ink.
But I’ve been through more than anyone can think.
And when life knocks me down I get up like a champion in the ring.
But my true beauty lies from within.
Not my figure, my smile or the glow on my skin.
I can never give in cause I will win in the end.
And those weapons will form but they won’t prosper my friend.
So I pray everyday that I become a better me.
A better mother, a better lover and write better poetry
Consistency is key ποΈ
It’s always me vs. me πͺπΏ
