I only want to love you and build a love so true.

But sometimes love is just so hard and leaves us so confused.

We want to give our all to it and jump and leap and fall.

But fear creeps in and doubt pops up and toxic history calls.

So maybe we’re not ready.

Maybe healing isn’t through.

But it hurts to think that love can’t be cause I truly do love you.

I want to be your peace and give you all you need.

But I have to find my peace first in order to succeed.

I hope one day I’m truly ready and can be your one true love.

But until that day I just hope and pray and seek guidance from above.

What’s meant to be will always be and that I know is true.

But for now I’ll leave and let you be, but just know,
